Spotify kommt auf 2012er Samsung SmartTVs

Musik-Streaming scheint die Zukunft der Musikindustrie zu sein und verzeichnet einen stetig starken Wachstum. Um an seinem heimischen Samsung SmartTV in Zukunft auch die Musik zu hören die man hören möchte und nicht auf suboptimale Musiksender angewiesen zu sein, hat kooperiert nun der Streaming-Dienst Spotify mit Samsung und bringt den eigenen Service auf alle 2012er SmartTVs:

Mit Spotify kommen dann rund 18 Millionen Songs auf Abruf. Wer bereits Spotify nutzt, muss dann lediglich seine Zugangsdaten eingeben damit alles synchronisiert wird. Wer noch nicht Spotify nutzt, wird eine Trial-Phase zum ausprobieren des Dienstes bekommen. Die Idee ist gut, leider fehlt mir der entsprechende Samsung SmartTV zum testen. UK, Chertsey – October 10, 2012 – Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, a global leader in digital media and convergence technologies will be the first TV manufacturer to bring the leading digital music service Spotify to the TV, with the launch of a new application for the Samsung Smart TV, Blu-ray player and home theatre system later this year.

Spotify offers instant on-demand access to a library of more than 18 million* songs, and will be available for TV in Europe** as a result of this unique partnership with Samsung.

 

Getting Spotify on your Samsung TV is easy: simply download the Spotify app to your internet-connected Samsung Smart TV or to your Blu-ray player or home theatre system, and log on. Spotify Premium subscribers will immediately be able to enjoy, discover and share music on Spotify, and see all of their playlists. It’s easy to use Spotify on your Samsung Smart TV as the user interface has been designed especially for television screens. And your Spotify playlists will automatically sync across all devices.

New users will be able to test the service for a limited time period for free, and it will be included for all existing Spotify Premium users with a compatible Samsung internet-connected Smart TV.

 

The app will be available initially on the Samsung Smart TV 2012 E Series.
