Laut IDC hat Samsung Nokia in Finnland bereits überholt, wenn es um Marktanteile geht. Samsung hatte im ersten Quartal dieses Jahres einen Anteil von 36 % an den Handyverkäufen, Nokia etwa 34 %.

Nokia erholt sich momentan zwar wieder langsam, hat aber längst nicht mehr die Marktstellung von vor einigen Jahren, weshalb viele Mitarbeiter sicherlich nicht abgeneigt wären, zu einem anderen Unternehmen zu wechseln, das vielleicht auch eine höhere Sicherheit hat, keine Mitarbeiter aufgrund von mangelndem Gewinn entlassen zu müssen.
Samsung ist sich dem wohl bewusst und so plant man den Bau einer Research & Developement Einrichtung in Finnland, Nokias Heimat. Für Samsung stehen die Chancen sicher nicht schlecht, dem ehemaligen Marktführer gute Mitarbeiter entlocken zu können.
